MY UNFOGETTABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IN TAGINIS
NOTE: Coronavirus has changed the way we travel. Due to the Coronavirus “COVID-19” pandemic has brought significant challenges to the global travel industry, few industries have fallen as far and as fast as tourism. The World Travel and Tourism Council has developed an extensive range of protocols to cover the new normal. Cleaning, sanitization, protective equipment such as mask and face shields, and thermal scanners. To prevent viruses, we should follow the health and safety measures implemented at your origin and destination. Stay safe everyone!
WHERE TO TRAVEL DURING AND AFTER THIS QUARANTINE: The Hidden Place of “Taginis” in Magdagooc, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte
Are you planning to travel during or after this pandemic? Today, I will introduce to you my unforgettable travel experience with my friends in Magdagooc and one of the most visited tourist spots, which is the Taginis Pebble Beach. Let’s go to Barangay Magdagooc, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte CARAGA REGION.
Taginis Pebble Beach or also known as the Hidden Paradise of Magdagooc in Jabonga province of Agusan del Norte is very different from other tourist spots that I visited before, because of its clear water, friendly atmosphere, natural environment’s beauty, and its unique and wonderful rock formations.
November 7, 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, my friends and I are planning to travel to a place within CARAGA REGION to make a travel vlog for our project in BME. Magdagooc, Jabonga is not included in our bucket list, it was an unexpected, exciting, thrilling, and enjoyable travel experience we ever have.
HOW TO GET THERE?
minal, ride a bus bound to Surigao drop off at the Jabonga Bus Terminal. The transportation fee before ninety pesos’ (90.00) fares bus non-aircon and one-hundred pesos (100.00) aircon bus unfortunately due to COVID-19 pandemic it is not the same as before.
From Jabonga Bus Terminal, ride a single motor bound to Barangay Magdagooc. One fifty up to two hundred pesos (150-200.00) one way two persons can ride, you can also ask for a discount. Ask the driver to drop you off where you can ride a pump boat to Taginis Pebble Beach.
The boat ride is just short; you can ask to pay six hundred pesos (600.00) if you can negotiate for as low as five hundred pesos (500.00). The price of the boat is very affordable and negotiable, for 5-10 persons depending on how big the chartered is.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME
TO VISIT TAGINIS PEBBLE BEACH?
The best time to visit Taginis is during sunny days because you can witness how clear and beautiful the beach is. If you haven’t before in a beach like Boracay Beach, Siargao, or Palawan like me, but just a glimpse of looking the water of Taginis Pebble Beach I can say that I also experience the Boracay White Sand Beach or Siargao the Surfing Capital of the Philippines.
WHAT ARE MY UNFORGETABBLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IN TAGINIS PEBBLE BEACH
Way back November 7, 2019, we travel from Cabadbaran City to Magdagooc, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte just to shoot our vlog for the requirements of our projects. It was an unexpected journey for us because as I stated above Taginis is not included in the list for the place to visit and it was our first time too. So what we did is we ride a single motor from Cabadbaran City to Magdagooc just to reach the destination. We did not ride a pump boat what we did is we traveled by motor. The funniest thing that happened to us was how we were forced to climb the mountain using a single motor just to get to the barangay but what makes us amazed is we discovered and witness how beautiful the Jabonga is by looking above the mountain. When we reach the barangay, we did not expect that we need to climb the big stones to reach that destination which is the Taginis to say is we don’t have enough money to rent a pump boat and also the residents said that it was too dangerous to ride a boat that day because of the big waves so we don’t have a choice, in the end, we decided to walk and climb the big stones and to face the big waves of water.
Wow! paanhaa ko diha dai.
